The new RAMS football stadium opening has been pushed back to the 2020 NFL season.
The football stadium is expected to be the centerpiece of a 298-acre sports and entertainment district, under development by Rams owner Stan Kroenke and Stockbridge Capital Group.
The U.S. National Football League has approved Rams owner Stan Kroenke’s plan to bring his St. Louis Rams to Los Angeles. The decision ended many years of site explorations, business proposals, and controversy, in securing a return of the NFL to the greater Los Angeles. In this instance specifically, the City of Inglewood.

The City of Los Angeles so far is supportive of the $1.5 billion NFL stadium proposed by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). The stadium would be located in downtown Los Angeles as part of AEG’s LA Live entertainment hub.
Plans for the stadium hit a hiccup, at least in terms of public perception, when AEG indicated its interest in selling its signature LA Live facilities.
